Since 1971
Our family and artisanal workshop has been in existence for almost 50 years and was formerly known as "Serge Barbier's Workshop", named after its creator and master of folds. Throughout his life, Serge Barbier created paper packaging and decorations for luxury designers, ensuring both design and manufacturing, always with his personal touch.
His daughter Juliette joined him in 2007, drawing with great excitement from her father's heritage (so... inexhaustible!) and developed, under the name of "Atelier des plis", a range of products for individuals: paper creations for family celebrations, wedding or birth announcements, boxes and containers for sugared almonds, etc.
In 2011, the family moved to the Swiss Alps, a short distance from Mont Blanc. Here, under the name "La dragée design", we continue to create unique paper containers and produce them in a mountain village.
We strive for a responsible production approach: generating our own photovoltaic energy, managing our logistics by electric car and using papers sourced from certified forest.
